First held in 1996, the goal of the Japan Digital Art Contest is to support the spreading and advancement in quality of digital art by uncovering promising new artists. The judgement panel, made up largly of active digital artists and headed by designer Shin Matsunaga, welcome the increasing advancement of the world's digital artists and hope to bring their work out to the world.
